Do you wish for a stronger, more self-assured and confident voice in the world?

Connect to the chant in your heart and witness the deep and nourishing transformation that unfolds.

There are lessons that our voices can teach us. At times we may feel resonant, clear and certain in our lives. There are also moments we feel a little shaky, unsure or lost. The practice of ongoing Vedic Chant offers a window to our inner state and an opportunity to strengthen both our inner and outer experience. Vedic Chant connects us deeply to a truth more expansive and ancient than ourselves.

Vedic Chant helps to strengthens the tone and clarity of the voice, in ways that reverberate into all aspects of life.

When we chant there are physical attributes that occur too. Through regular practice, core muscles are powerfully strengthened. Chanting works strongly on the lungs for those who suffer from asthma, or on the muscles within the gut for those who struggle with digestive issues. Sound is a powerful tool for the relief of anxiety especially when it connects us with knowledge that offers us support and comfort. All of the human systems, physical, mental and emotional can find some sort of advantage when the breath is linked with the mind, is linked with the body – and this is the magic of lifting ones’ voice in chant.

The ancient practice of Vedic Chant is a gateway to the deepest part of ourselves – and commitment to the message that resonates in our hearts.

All yoga mats, bolsters and blankets are supplied. Please wear loose layered clothing suitable for partaking in some asana practice and wear easy to remove shoes for entrance into The Sound Temple.

Imagine the Ultimate Yoga Indulgence for your mind, body and soul held in our beautiful Mandala Room with underfloor heating every Friday morning. These yoga sessions are suitable for people of all levels.
Think warming the body from the inside out, nourishing and nurturing yourself – a gifting each Friday from You to YOU. This is an opportunity to recharge and restore, perhaps after a busy week and help you wind down for the weekend.

This practice will assist you to reduce stress and anxiety, to connect more fully with your breath, to be more loving and accepting of your physical body honouring its sensations and messages and to move beyond the crazy machinations of the ‘monkey mind’. Sally began her yoga journey at the age of 14 and has been teaching since 2000.
She is a fully qualified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya.
In this tradition yoga is a holistic, practical and experiential practice that respects the needs and abilities of each student. Each student is encouraged on a personal journey towards physical and mental health and spiritual growth Yoga for all stages of life.

In addition to teaching the familiar yoga practices of asana, pranayama, mudras, visualisation, meditation and relaxation, Sally has a particular interest in Vedic Chant.
Sally teaches regular classes for groups and individuals, workshops and hosts retreats both here in Perth and Australia and now internationally.
