Common Threads – Woven through Community

COMMUNITY CARNIVAL DAY

Calling all Mothers, put a good word in to your family to add our Carnival Day to your wish list this year, join us and celebrate our launch of our sustainable fashion expo.

Bring a picnic for the family and enjoy amazing entertainment from Junkadelic Brass Band and the lovely Eco Faeries.

Children’s activities are a plenty with loads of fun to be had at nature workshops and craft stations happening around the property.

Parents can indulge in finding out more from our amazing Common Threads presenters and facilitators, knowing their little ones will be kept busy and entertained.

Eco Faeries will be telling wonderful stories in The Sound Temple and there will be hula-hoop and hands-on crafting fun stations on the lawn.

Parents can indulge in finding out more from our amazing Common Threads presenters and facilitators, knowing their little ones will be kept busy and entertained.

Junkadelic Brass Band will be treating us to their high-energy music as they fill the bush with the sounds from their recycled instruments. Children can also join them in an instrument-making workshop.

In our glorious Mandala Room pull up a chair and hear from the many diverse presenters who will share their passion for ethical and sustainable fashion. Look at our extensive program of events and talk to other like-minded people who are eager to reduce their fashion footprint. There will be short clips of some eye-opening, hard-hitting, life-changing short films which we will be showing throughout the five weeks of Common Threads.

Meet first hand some of the line up of presenters of our expo at our Carnival Day
