Common Threads – Woven through Community

HANDS ON WORKSHOP

How would you like to create a beautiful cushion with hand stitched embroidery in the form of a Mandala?
Slow Sewing is an artful, alchemical and creative engagement in the act of slowing down, increasing mindfulness and entering deeply into a state of artistic flow.

When we commit to space and time that allows our child-like sense of wonder to step forth, we notice our breathing begin to settle, and the creative impulse of ‘play’, guide our work. The mind chatter eases, the heart feels calm, the respiratory system regulates, and the bliss state of shared creativity begins to emerge. We enter into a state of potent artistic practice.

Come and join Melissa in our stunning Mandala Room to create a beautiful hand stitched Mandala cushion. It will be an immersion into sacred space, soulful stitching, harmonious creativity and light filled warmth. We’d love to share it with you.
