Ladies Clothing Swap
Come and join us for an afternoon of fun fashion upcycling. Pick up some fabulous new clothes for your wardrobe without spending loads of money. This is the perfect way to dive into the upcycling vibe in style. Sip champagne and refresh your clothes collection by swapping up to five of your good quality items with ‘new-to-you’ garments.
Our emphasis is on high quality clothing – the type you might give away to a friend. You’ll receive a token for the number of items you bring that will enable you to choose the same amount of garments to take home with you. Un-swapped items that are left over will be donated to charity – so everyone wins.
The team of ladies from The Sound Temple have organised a fabulous and exciting afternoon out, with a twist!
Following afterwards at 7pm is our evening event, Decluttter, Dejunk and Downsize to a Small Wardrobe. Stay to learn more about this minimalist approach to fashion and share in a nourishing light supper with us.
Join Janis, Dawn, Clara and Melissa for a bit of fun out of the ordinary with prizes and give a ways galore. Dress to the nine’s if you like, wear your oldest glads, bring out your absolute fave or just come as you are.
Common Threads – Woven through Community is a month long community engagement project proudly brought to the Perth Hills following on from the world Fashion Revolution week in late April.
This exhibition includes topics of integrating sustainability, creativity, and traditional hand-crafted wisdom of the ages. These events are designed for you to leave feeling deeply inspired to become part of a brand new impulse of considerable change.
