Internationally respected Mantra teacher and Sacred Sound practitioner, Anandra George, leads Chant and Kirtan at some of the world’s largest Yoga Festivals around the globe.
She has taught Sanskrit Mantra meditation to students world- wide and has created the world’s first registered yoga teacher training based entirely on the transformational power of sound, including Sanskrit, Mantra, Indian classical vocal meditation, and non-violent communication for everyday life.
Anandra is a pioneer in the global yoga community, re-introducing the ancient practice of sound as a fundamental practice. American by birth, Indian by soul, and global citizen by expression, she helps people transform their limiting belief systems and cultivate their most fulfilling contribution to the world. She is dynamic, devotional and full of deep practical wisdom.
Anandra currently lives, sings, and teaches at an Indian ashram at the personal request of one of India’s most revered saints. She spends her time between India, Japan, and Hawaii but in October, she will visit the Perth Hills to spend some time at The Sound Temple. A loved mentor of Dawn’s, they sang together on the banks of Ma Ganga in Rishikesh earlier this year during a two week Heart of Sound Workshop.
We are delighted to welcome Anandra to our team of Sound Facilitators at The Sound Temple to provide Nada Yoga and Mantra Workshops as she continues on her world tour. We are ecstatic to announce that our regular Kirtan group will have an opportunity to create some Heart of Sound with her in person, October 2018.
