Fall in Love with Mantra

Join us for an evening of singing and falling in love with sound as we host International Yoga and Mantra Teacher Anandra George.

Kīrtan with Anandra is a heavenly experience of call and response mantra chanting set to Indian classical rāgas. We begin the saturation in sacred sound with call-and-response rāga singing on the Sanskṛit vowel of ānanda śakti (bliss), Ā…

Following on with the singing of mantras in simple melodies, gradually building to ecstatic intensity.
When the mood has reached its fullness, we dissolve the sound back into the stillness of the void.

Anandra will be accompanied by Kim Echammaal Coull, Harishakti and Shaki and will share songs that they shared together on the banks of Ma Ganga earlier this year in an evening that will bring such joy and reverence to your heart.

We conclude the evening with a shared meal, please bring along a plate of vegetarian food and rejoice in this community event.

Join us… Discover the worlds within worlds of each musical mood, within each mantric syllable, and release the nectar of your own uniquely sweet devotional voice.
