Wellbeing Drum Circle Facilitator
Jacey Brown

We warmly welcome Jacey to our team of Wellness facilitators at The Sound Temple.
Jacey Brown is a Rhythm Circle Facilitator, Registered Counsellor and passionate advocate for the healing power of rhythm, connection and community.
Her journey with drumming began almost 30 years ago during a period of profound grief and personal loss. Drawn to the grounding frequencies of bass and rhythm, Jacey found comfort, safety and healing through learning to play the drum kit. This experience led her into the world of communal drumming circles, where she developed a deep respect for the traditions of
Indigenous cultures and the sacred gathering spaces where the beat of the drum reflects the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
Inspired by the transformative impact of rhythm, Jacey went on to undertake training in the internationally recognised evidence- based programs DRUMBEAT and Rhythm2Recovery. Since 2021, she has facilitated these programs throughout Perth and the Wheatbelt, supporting individuals and groups through experiential learning, emotional expression and meaningful connection.
Drawing on her background as a Registered Counsellor, Jacey integrates rhythm, reflection and creative expression to create experiences where participants feel heard, valued, connected and uplifted. Her unique approach combines the therapeutic benefits of rhythm with opportunities for self-discovery, community building and personal growth.
Through her healing rhythm circles, Jacey creates a welcoming and supportive environment where people can reconnect with themselves and others through the universal language of rhythm.
We are very honoured here at The Sound Temple to have Jacey as part of our regular Facilitator Team, sharing her gifts through Rhythm Circles and community-based experiences here in the Perth Hills.
