Opening Night and launch of our brand new exhibition, Common Threads – Woven through Community. Integrating sustainability, creativity, and traditional hand-crafted wisdom of the ages, you’ll be left feeling deeply inspired to become part of a brand new impulse of considerable change.

Guest Speaker India Easton will cut to the core of this roots movement that is shredding decades of fashion industry propaganda, hype and environmental abuse with an introduction to this powerfully hot topic.

Her dedication and passion led to presenting this as a topic last year and is now centre stage to open this incredible month-long expo which will showcase products, conscious films, interactive discussion groups, workshops and will have other Social Entrepreneurs hosting events.

India Easton has been a long time advocate  of sustainable, upcycled and hand crafted fashion. She’s spent many years perfecting various creative and artistic techniques to produce her own personal style of clothing. For India,  2017 was dedicated to a year long study into the production, processes and destructive impact of fast fashion on our global society. She is one of Perth’s most cutting edge, contemporary protagonists for environmental and social change.

Individuals who are paving a new way forward that is creatively brilliant, accessible, sustainable and hands on inspiring.
