A Sanctuary of Sisterhood: Healing and Connection in The Sound Temple’s Women’s Circles

In today’s busy world, it’s all too easy to lose touch with the sacred, with our innate wisdom and the rhythms that connect us to one another. At The Sound Temple, we understand the profound need for spaces where women can gather in sisterhood, hold space for one another, and reconnect with their inner selves. Our monthly Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circle is just such a sanctuary—a place where healing, connection, and a deep sense of belonging come to life.

Whether you’re looking for a break from the busyness, or simply seeking time to nurture your Feminine Essence, these circles offer a restorative space to reclaim your Magick.

What to Expect at The Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circle

Imagine stepping into our Mandala Room, nestled among five peaceful acres of Jarrah Forest, away from the noise and demands of everyday life. Soft lighting, cozy blankets, and the gentle flicker of candlelight welcome you. This is your time—a pause for deep rest and renewal.

Each gathering is uniquely crafted to offer a blend of sacred practices, weaving together meditation, sound healing, and heartfelt sharing. These circles are designed to guide you on a journey through your inner landscape, helping you remember who you truly are and reconnect with your inherent strength and grace.

Our evening flows gently, inviting you to unwind and drop into the wisdom of your heart. You’ll be guided through embodied healing processes, activations, meditations, and rituals that honour your cyclical nature. We’ll conclude with a sound bath, allowing each of us to find a place of deep integration and much-needed rest. Organic teas and hand-made raw treats are provided, nourishing you on all levels.

Meet Amanda Howell

We are truly honoured to have Amanda Howell as a facilitator for our Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circles. Amanda’s gentle, compassionate presence is matched by her years of experience in women’s health and holistic practices. As a yoga teacher, yoni massage therapist, and Reiki practitioner, Amanda brings a wealth of wisdom to each circle, creating a deeply nurturing environment for healing and reconnection.

Amanda’s journey has led her to specialise in trauma-informed practices, and her training in somatic movement and trauma-sensitive yoga makes her a compassionate guide, helping women find safety and comfort in their own bodies. Each session with Amanda is an invitation to release, let go, and connect to the truest version of yourself. Her knowledge and sensitivity make her a beloved part of our Sound Temple family.

Why Join a Women’s Circle?

There is something profoundly healing about gathering in circle. For generations, women have come together in sacred spaces to share their stories, witness each other’s journeys, and draw strength from the collective energy of Sisterhood. These circles offer a gentle space to rest, be seen, and be heard—a time to Honour your Life’s Journey in the presence of other women who hold you in unconditional love.

Our Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circle allows you to:

  • Connect deeply with your own Heart and Spirit, tuning in to the wisdom within.
  • Release and Restore, letting go of what no longer serves you and allowing healing energies to flow.
  • Reclaim your Magick, tapping into the ancient and sacred power that each of us holds within.

As we open each circle, we set intentions for healing that ripple through time, sending waves of love to the women who came before us and those who are yet to come. This gathering is a chance to Honour your Sacred Self, awaken your feminine essence, and find grounding as you navigate life’s seasons.

The Power of Sound Healing

One of the most treasured parts of these evenings is our sound bath—a time when you can surrender and allow sound to bring about healing at a deeply cellular level. Sound has an extraordinary ability to calm the nervous system and bring us into a state of harmony and alignment. Using instruments like gongs, chimes, and singing bowls, we create a soundscape that soothes the mind, releasing tension and allowing deep rest.

The vibrations from these sounds resonate through your entire being, creating a bridge between mind and body and opening the heart to healing. Sound baths are especially powerful for integration, giving you space to process and embody the healing you’ve received during the circle.

How to Prepare for Your First Circle

If this is your first Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circle, we’re delighted to welcome you! Here are a few tips to help you settle in comfortably:

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully and be present in your body.
  • Bring a journal if you feel called to capture any Insights, Reflections, or Intentions that may come up during the evening.
  • Arrive a little early to unwind and soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Everything you need for the evening is provided—yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and all the comforts to make your time with us as restful as possible. Simply bring an open heart and a willingness to connect.

A Monthly Invitation to Reconnect

As we approach the end of the year, when life often speeds up, it’s more important than ever to find moments for rest and renewal. Our Women’s Sound and Embodiment Circle offers a monthly invitation to reconnect, restore, and reclaim your sense of Magick.

This is a time to nurture yourself, honour your unique path, and experience the profound beauty of sisterhood.

We warmly welcome you to join us on 14th November, 6:30-9pm and every month after. Each circle is an opportunity to come home to yourself, to remember your strength, and to connect deeply with other like-minded women on a journey toward wholeness.

Join us at The Sound Temple, where you’ll find a community ready to honour and celebrate you. Together, we create a sanctuary for growth, healing, and belonging.
