We warmly welcome Elina as an exhibiting Guest Artist at The Sound Temple as part of the Mundaring Hills Open Studio – Art in the Hills.

Born in Latvia, amidst the enchanting landscapes of the Baltic, Elina had the privilege of growing up in an artistic environment that nurtured her creativity. With the freedom to explore and experiment, Elina honed her skills and completed a fashion design degree before embarking on a transformative journey halfway across the world to land here in Australia. Here, amidst the sun-kissed shores, she continues to cultivate her artistic vision, constantly inspired by the beauty that surrounds her.

As Elina dives deeper into self-discovery, she finds herself profoundly drawn to the beauty of nature. Its power and mystery inspire me greatly, fuelling her passion for artistic expression. Through her three-dimensional abstract art, she strives to capture the essence of nature’s boundless allure, reflecting the blissful life force that resides within us – humans.
Over the years, Eina’s passion for silk painting has led her to explore a variety of materials. She intertwines the raw elegance of pure silk with the timeless allure of epoxy resin, stone texture, and 24K gold, developing a technique called ‘Quatre éléments.’ Each piece she creates undergoes a meticulous, multi-layered process, resulting in a polished, multi-dimensional appearance that resembles nature’s wonders, almost breathing.

With a keen eye for detail and an unwavering passion for her craft, Elina continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression, inspiring audiences around the world to embrace the transformative power of art through the ‘Beyond Art Experience’ involving individuals and large groups of people towards co-creating art pieces that represent a deeper reflection of their story.

We are very honoured here at The Sound Temple to have Elina as part of our core team and now also one of our invited Exhibiting Artists here in the Perth Hills.
