Greetings Sound Temple Friends,
As we approach the End of the Calendar Year, you can’t help but wonder who made this all up! We start off the year slowly returning from what hopefully was some fun times bathing in the sun, spending time in nature and wishing that you hadn’t agreed to provide the Christmas Pudding for the third year in a row! An extra roll or two hanging over your trousers as you try and squeeze back into some formal clothing – pretending that life is all too serious again!
It’s mid-December and we haven’t even got any presents to put under the tree yet – let alone write the cards or book the rellies in for a lunch, you look back and wonder where the heck the year went? Oh that’s right, you were hanging out at The Sound Temple! Joking……….You are not alone!.
For those who journey regularly or follow our monthly musings know that we went through the Explosive Energy of the Aries Full Moon in October and that catapulted most of us into a great deal of last-minute panic and action leaving us feeling like it was the end of the year already!
Some wouldn’t have stopped yet – however, those who recovered from the Scorpio deep dive and found themselves bathing in the Love, Beauty and Abundance of the Taurean Full Moon in November – may still have just about enough energy left in their cup to survive the Christmas Craze!
We find ourselves illuminated by the Full Moon in Gemini on December 15th. This air sign, known for its vibrant energy and thirst for knowledge, invites us to explore our connections, embrace curiosity, and engage in meaningful conversations (What…over Christmas?) while also encouraging us to release what no longer serves us – no………. NOT a good time to ditch the family……….. or else, who is going to supply the Christmas Pud? Sometimes Christmas isn’t the best time of the year to engage in meaningful conversations, certainly not digging up the past – but some people are fortunate and if that’s not you then it’s time to just sit back and observe with an air of curiosity – much safer bet with energies running hot as people start chasing the turkey around the kitchen!
At The Sound Temple, we recognise the Full Moon as a time of illumination and release. With the Moon in Gemini, this period emphasises communication—both with ourselves and others. It’s a time to reflect on how we express our thoughts, feelings, and desires, especially as we gather with loved ones during this festive season. Choose your words wisely!
Celebrating Connection, Family and Community
As we approach the holiday season, the Full Moon in Gemini serves as a reminder of the importance of Community, Family and Connection. This is a wonderful time to strengthen bonds with those around you, focusing on the relationships that enrich your life – aka………. FIND YOUR TRIBE!
Gather with those you love, host a fun celebration, share stories, laughter, and insights as you create memories together, allowing the energy of connection to flow freely.
It’s a tricky time for most of you to join us – smack bang in the middle of December – however, we are still here, polishing the gongs and lighting the candles, ready waiting for anyone who wants to gather during this potent time when we are being asked to cleanse and release.
May this Full Moon in Gemini inspire you to express yourself freely (remember don’t mention the aversion to the colour green as your Mother-In-Law just painted her entire house in green), release what holds you back, and connect deeply with those around you.
May you all survive the Christmas Pudding de-barkle and live to tell the tale when we meet again in January!
With Love and Light,
The Sound Temple Team xxx
