Reap What You Sow – New Moon in Virgo

New Moon in Virgo – Friday 30th August 2019

New Moons are definitely a time for planting seeds. But before we get our gardening gloves on, it’s always good to put some thought into what we’re planting and why.  After all, we reap what we sow… and this idea is especially important to remember during this New Moon in Virgo.

So, when we plant our own seeds at this New Moon, it’s important to make sure the intentions behind them line up with our highest values and ideals. The gap between who we are and who we’d like to be can feel painfully wide at times, but there’s always something we can do to narrow it.  Just take things one small step at a time—an approach that comes naturally to a thoughtful, meticulous Virgo.

In Perth Hills at this time of year, it’s like everything is coming out of a long slumber. It feels like a rebirth with Spring just around the corner – the birds are chirping, there are buds bursting from our rose bushes outside The Mandala Room and it’s like a kaleidoscope of colour before our very eyes.

This New Moon on 30th August means that this is not only the time to start something new, but also the time to break down any problems we’ve been experiencing to find some simple solutions — that is, after all, what Virgos do best. During the time of the New Moon, we’ll have the opportunity to really think about what information we need to retain, so we can focus on what really matters to us. This is also a time where we’ll be focused on honing our skills, thinking about balance, and investing in self-care.

People born under the sign of Virgo are hardworking, loving, devoted and observant, whilst also being critical, reserved, distrustful and critical of anything outside if their own beliefs. Virgos love making order in the chaos. They are very good at giving excellent advice because they have an uncluttered thought process that allows them to see cause and effect from a distance.

Under this Virgo New Moon, you may suddenly find yourself feeling the need to organise everything chaotic and disorganised, including your emotions. Some of us find it difficult to think or even function when our spaces are cluttered or messy, and a good clean up or clear out can be brilliant for our mental health and for our productivity.

This is an excellent time to leave your comfort zone and widen your social circle with some extraordinary people. A reliable intuition and flashes of insight can lead to increased self-awareness, creative breakthroughs, and new discoveries which can bring a sense of adventure, curiosity and initiative. You can break free from previous restrictions or boring routines with a burst of daring energy. Taking risks will lead to unique opportunities to experience new activities, feelings, and relationships. Follow your instinct and be confident about making changes and starting new projects.

New Moon is a well known time for new beginnings and a new beginning can start any time you like. Trust that life knows what’s in store for you, and remember you can change the course any time you like. You are the author and the story doesn’t start until you begin. So take a deep breath and put the pen to paper.

Join us to write your heartfelt intention on Friday 30th August at New Moon Sound Healing with our beautiful Kim Echammaal Coull. What are you waiting for? A pen and paper beckons!
