Mantra for the Modern Yogī
In afternoon you will learn the essential practice of mantra repetition for maintaining profound inner connection in the midst of modern life. We’ll cover the history and origin of the different types of mantras for different effects, how to work with the 4 levels of mental function according to Ayurvedic psychology, how to gracefully dissolve habitual negative thought patterns using mantra, and most importantly, how to create a transformational practice for your own life.

We are pleased to announce that Anandra is joining us at The Sound Temple to share the beautiful gift of Sound Yoga with the Perth Community. Anandra is an internationally respected Mantra teacher and Sacred Sound practitioner, she leads Chant and Kirtan at some of the world’s largest Yoga Festivals around the globe.

She has taught Sanskrit Mantra meditation to students world- wide and has created the world’s first registered yoga teacher training based entirely on the transformational power of sound, including Sanskrit, Mantra, Indian classical vocal meditation, and non-violent communication for everyday life.

Anandra is a pioneer in the global yoga community, re-introducing the ancient practice of sound as a fundamental practice.

Anandra currently lives, sings, and teaches at an Indian ashram and is teaching in Perth at The Sound Temple and continuing on to Sydney to host further Heart of Sound Workshops.
