Not a single country can claim to have achieved gender equality!

International Women’s Day 2020

This Sunday, March 8th, we invite you to stop for a moment and join us as we celebrate the magnificence of International Women’s Day for 2020.

The year 2020 represents an unmissable opportunity to mobilise global action to achieve gender equality and human rights of all women and girls and to celebrate the changes ahead.

Not just any old celebration, but the kind that sings from our bones, throws our hands in the air, dances us bare foot, singing in gypsy skirted joy on the red earth kind of celebration!

Sing from your bones, dance with no shoes, celebrate!

You’ll hear us singing our praises from the tops of the tall gum tress, as we honour the Divine Feminine in our lives. We’ll be joining with people from all over the world, uniting together to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable social, cultural and political achievements of women globally.

This year, the theme is all about – An equal world is an enabled world!

Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.

We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements.

Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world. Let’s all be #EachforEqual#IWD2020

The emerging global consensus is that despite some progress, real change has been agonisingly slow for the majority of women and girls in the world! According to ‘International Women’s Day’ website…..they state that “Today, not a single country can claim to have achieved gender equality.”

We are seeing more and more places around the world making leaps and bounds towards a positively united sense of gender equality. Finland is a world leader in creating an equal society for women and they are still pursuing this important work and hope to lead by example.

Today, not a single country can claim to have achieved gender equality.

How can we find ways to reward and honour the feminine? How can we support and cherish our differences, embrace our feminine power and come together as the force to heal the world?

Whether or not you choose to create a local sisterhood circle or join in an event to celebrate, we ask you to hold this day as something deeply sacred. It is only through our shared diversity that we can find the unity we need to transform the wounds of our world into something extraordinary. Gorgeous Vida is hosting her next women’s gathering here called ‘Circles of Inspiration’ join us if you feel the call!

How can we birth a healthy, radiant future?

Let’s find our way together, hand in hand, as we plant the seeds for a balanced and empowered future of diversity, action and collaboration.

Lets join together and find more sustainable options to support the planet!
